Refund policy

We have a 3-day return policy, which means you have seven days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at michelle@heritagebackyard.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 302 Lafferty Ave, Cameron, TX 76520

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Items returned to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned; our products are custom-made to order. Custom products are not returnable unless approved by Heritage Backyard Inc.  Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, custom-made items, or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14-day cooling off period.
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved. You’ll be automatically refunded using your original payment method within ten business days if approved. Please remember it can take time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Cancellation of Orders
Heritage Backyard Inc. manufactures products to order. As such, orders may not be canceled once manufacturing begins. Manufacturing begins when Heritage Backyard Inc. or its associates order materials and parts for an order or the order has been in place with Heritage Backyard Inc. for three days. In any event, orders may never be canceled after the order has been in place for three days, including manufacturing delays of up to 3 weeks. These are Artesan products made right, not quickly.

To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, Heritage Backyard Inc. disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Heritage Backyard Inc. does not represent or warrant that the functions contained in the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that the defects will be corrected, or that this site or the server that makes the site available is free of viruses or other harmful components. Heritage Backyard Inc. does not make any warrantees or representations regarding the use of the materials on this site in terms of their correctness, accuracy, adequacy, usefulness, timeliness, reliability, or otherwise. Some states do not permit limitations or exclusions on warranties, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability
Heritage Backyard Inc. shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if Heritage Backyard Inc. has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation of exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
