Asado Grills

Argentina is home to one of the world's most famous traditional barbeque dishes, Asado. Asado is more than just grilled beef, it is a cultural way of life that has been passed down through generations. Asado is the traditional and minimalistic form of roasting beef, typically done on a skewered metal structure known as an 'asador'. The asador is placed very near to a slow-burning fire, with the fire and smoke imparting a unique flavor to the meat. The beef is often cooked on a Patagonian Cross or an Asado Grill with an Ember maker, with the main cuts being prime rib and whole animals. Asado has been a staple of the Río de la Plata populace and gauchos for centuries, and it is still one of the most popular dishes in Argentina today.
